Bookcliff Country Club offers an 18 hole championship, par 71 golf course, originally designed by Henry Hughes, that wanders through a parkland setting with beautiful views of Western Slope’s Bookcliff Mountain Range and Colorado’s largest flat top mountain, The Mesa; also home to our closest ski resort.

Thanks to our multiple neighboring mountain ranges the Grand Valley and Bookcliff Country Club are blessed with a minimal annual snow fall and on average we can offer golf amenities year round.

Our green jewel, at just over 6,600 yards, provides a challenge that belies its length. Lush fairways offer very little roll and a testing design. Heavy bluegrass rough and water combine to "build a little character" in the best of players. The greens are said to be the fastest on the Western Slope.

The beauty of a Golf Membership is accessibility... accessibility to your golf course, whether you want to play a full 18 holes with a group of fellow members, simply sneak in 2 or 3 holes by yourself over lunchtime or just use the practice facilities to hone your skills... it’s all included!

No need to spend 6 hours on the golf course, the average play time for a round of 18 holes for your foursome is around 3.5 to 4 hours. Finally, keep your love of the game alive without the frustration of waiting all day to finish a round.

Bookcliff has a robust golf schedule for both the gentlemen and ladies of our membership during the golf season; as well as, education and practical applications on the game. And for your junior golfers we offer it all from A to Z.

Pull and electric golf carts are available for rental, but the use of a cart is not mandatory as the course’s parkland design appeals to the golfer who enjoys walking. Practice facilities are available and our Golf Professionals can provide guided instruction for beginners as well as seasoned golfers.
